Our volunteers lead horses, support riders, groom, feed, maintain gear, fundraise, clean, organise, and keep the entire centre moving forward.

Without volunteers, the arena falls silent. With volunteers, it becomes a place of possibility.

🐴 Our Horses Are Incredible — But They Can’t Do It Alone

Our therapy horses are calm, intuitive, and beautifully trained, but they rely on humans to guide them, care for them, and create a safe environment for our riders. When you volunteer, you’re not just helping a horse — you’re helping a rider discover confidence, balance, independence, and joy.

Working with Children Check

As our riders are of varying ages, you will need a current WWCC certificate from Service NSW to be a Volunteer. It’s very easy simply apply online by clicking the button below, once you’ve applied you will need to pop into a Service NSW office to verify your identity.

During the process of application online, when it comes to step 4 “Purpose of check” Select volunteers and then choose disability services in the drop down box. Volunteers are provided a free WWCC from the government.
