Sometimes the most powerful milestones are spoken in just three little words

For Declan, a rider at the Mudgee Centre – Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW), the bond he has developed with his horse has helped create a truly special moment. As you watch this video, listen carefully… you’ll hear Declan say,

“Go, go, go!”

Moments like these remind us that therapeutic horse riding is about so much more than riding. It’s about building confidence, connection, communication and independence in an environment where every achievement is celebrated. At Mudgee Centre RDA, our incredible horses, dedicated volunteers and qualified coaches work together to help riders discover new possibilities, one ride at a time. Your support helps make these life-changing moments possible.

These moments are celebrated by all of us and they are why we volunteer and your help will ensure many more of these great moments happen in the future

Musical Ride

Each year NSW RDA holds a competition between Centres for their participants to submit an entry in the Musical Ride - a choreographed ride to a piece of music with multiple horses, riders and volunteers coordinating.

Mudgee has won this competition a number of times - check out some of our best!

Thanks to our sponsors

On behalf of everyone at RDA Mudgee — our riders, volunteers, coaches, and our wonderful herd — we extend our deepest thanks to Craig and Phil, representing The Masons of Mudgee, for your generous sponsorship of Sunny.

Your support helps ensure Sunny receives the care, training, and wellbeing he needs to continue changing lives. Because of your generosity, riders across the Mid‑Western Region can experience confidence, connection, joy, and the unique therapeutic benefits that only a horse like Sunny can provide.

Your kindness strengthens our whole community, and we are truly grateful for your belief in our work and in the power of our horses.

With heartfelt appreciation, All of us at Mudgee RDA.
