Riding for the Disabled (NSW) Mudgee Centre is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation providing a safe and secure environment for riders of all abilities.

OUR VISION: To deliver safe, inclusive, and transformative equine‑assisted programs that empower individuals living with disability, strengthen families, and enrich the Mudgee region through compassion, skill, and community spirit.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT: To create a community where people of all abilities can thrive, connect, and grow through the life‑changing power of horses.

MUSICAL RIDE

Each year NSW RDA holds a competition between Centres for their participants to submit an entry in the Musical Ride - a choreographed ride to a piece of music with multiple horses, riders and volunteers coordinating.

Mudgee has won this competition a number of times - check out some of our best!

Jan Pike OAM, PLY is a trailblazing Australian Paralympian whose courage, determination, and lifelong advocacy have transformed equestrian sport and disability inclusion. Her achievements inspire riders nationwide, and her leadership continues to elevate opportunities, visibility, and respect for people living with disability across the RDA community and beyond.
